The vast majority of my sessions take place online through a secure video system. This enables clients to participate in therapy conveniently from the comfort of their own home, office, or even car! All you need is a computer, phone, or tablet - and a desire for things to change.
Online therapy is a quickly growing therapeutic modality, and research has shown that it is just as effective as in-person therapy. I was initially drawn to online work due to my own experiences receiving online therapy as a client. I found it to be an incredibly effective and convenient way to prioritize my own self-growth without losing as much of the day due to traveling to a therapy office. I also loved being able to talk with my therapist from my own space, and found it to add an interesting dimension to the work.
As a therapist, I was inspired to provide more of this accessibility to my own clients - and my online practice was born! If you aren’t sure about doing therapy online - I hear you! Before starting online therapy as a client, I wasn’t sure either! Now, I’m a convert. While it might not be for everyone, the vast majority of my clients absolutely love it.
